Chill out!

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. Despite the high temperatures today, creative juices were flowing in my kitchen. My youngest daughter decided to experiment with the contents of my fridge, and came up with these delicious healthy frozen treats.

 

Firstly, put natural yogurt into cups evenly, then place fruit of your choice on top of the yogurt. We used grapes and blueberries, but sliced banana or strawberries might also be nice. To pull out these lollies you will need to place a lolly pop stick in the yogurt, or if you prefer, freeze without a stick and you can eat it with a spoon. Put them in the freezer for at least 3 hours until they are completely frozen. You will need to squeeze the cups a little to get the frozen treats out.

 

The family enjoyed these so much on a very hot day and thought they tasted as good as ice-cream!
